The CBLIP Strategic Plan (2019-2022) is the culmination of more than a year of research and consultation, including thirteen community engagement events held across Cape Breton and extensive surveys of both immigrants and the Cape Breton community at large.
The Strategic Plan acts as the guiding document for the work of the CBLIP – providing a road map for how to build more welcoming and inclusive communities in Cape Breton and improve the integration outcomes of newcomers. It includes four strategic priorities:
- Improving Coordination
- Raising Awareness
- Supporting Research and Planning
- Fostering Welcoming Communities
