Olufemi Adesina

Olufemi Adesina and his family have called Cape Breton home for just over a year and a half. Originally from Nigeria, Femi, as he is best known as, has over 17 years of Hospitality Management experience. He has worked in full service as well as select-service hotels and restaurants in the United Kingdom, Nigeria and Canada. He has extensive experience in the opening of hotels, and hotel operations, maintenance of physical assets, accommodation service management and the health sector.

Femi holds a Master of Arts in International Hotel and Restaurant Management from London Metropolitan University, United Kingdom, a Graduate Certificate in Hospitality Management from University of West London, United Kingdom. As well as a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

Besides his passion for the hospitality industry, he is a strong advocate of the tourism industry as a source of economic development.

Femi is a dedicated member of the Cape Breton Local Immigration Partnership (CBLIP) Immigrant Advisory Table (IAT) and a member of the Destination Employment Advisory Committee, a Project of Tourism HR Canada and the Hotel Association of Canada.

He enjoys meeting people, reading, and socializing. Femi and his wife recently welcomed two beautiful twin girls to their family. Congratulations!
